According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Georginio Wijnaldum is set to leave PSG for AS Roma.

Roma head coach Jose Mourinho is keen to add Wijnaldum to his squad as soon as possible and a deal is said to be close for the Dutch international.

La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Roma wants to initially loan Wijnaldum, but it may include a clause to make it permanent next summer. The only stumbling block at the minute is Wijnaldum’s wages and this is what Roma are hoping to make a swift agreement on.

Wijnaldum is keen on a move to Rome, where he wants regular first team football in order to win his place back in the Dutch national team ahead of the World Cup.
