Willem II have confirmed the signing of Bart Nieuwkoop on loan from Feyenoord until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old right-back, who can also play in midfield, has not been in Jaap Stam’s plans so far and Feyenoord have agreed to loan him to Willem II.

Nieuwkoop came through the Feyenoord academy and made his first team debut in 2015. He has made 61 appearances for the club.

Nieuwkoop has extended his Feyenoord contract until 2021 before heading to Tilburg.
