The Willem II head coach Jurgen Streppel is still hoping to add to his squad before the transfer window closes in a fortnight and he sees the twice capped Danish international as a potential target.
The 20 year old featured in 27 of Ajax’s 34 league games last term, but has found first team opportunities harder to come by so far this season. Whilst still seen as part of the long term plans in Amsterdam, Andersen hasn’t even made the bench in any of Ajax’s four competitive fixtures so far, so a loan move would provide him with valuable playing time.
Should the move come off, Andersen would join fellow Ajax colleagues Lesley de Sa, Ruben Ligeon, and Richairo Živković in Tilburg as Streppel looks to build upon last seasons excellent 9th place finish.
