Weghorst was heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur during the last transfer window, but the move never materialised.
According to BILD, Tottenham have retained their interest in the striker and Wolfsburg have promised Weghorst he can make the deal should an offer of €35 million come in.
The 28-year-old has scored nine goals in 13 Bundesliga games this season, and a further four in other competitions.
Good club for a good striker.
He’s done all he can to get into the national team (and really should be there) but if he goes to Spurs he can completely forget about being called again in the near future. He won’t see much playing time at all there, if any.
