Yannis Anastasiou has been named as the new manager of Roda JC. He replaces Darije Kalezic.

anastasiouAnastasiou represented Roda JC as a player, netting 48 goals for the club in 114 league appearances between 2000 and 2004. He then went on to play for Ajax, and Sparta Rotterdam before hanging up his boots.

The 43-year-old was named as the coach of Greek giants Panathinkos in 2013. In two years in charge, Anastasiou guided the club to one Greek cup win.

He now takes charge of Roda JC, who will be looking to build on their 14th placed finish last season.
