After swapping Ajax for Real Madrid, Netherlands U17 international Mink Peeters is almost set to make his debut in Spain.

peeters realPeeters move from Ajax to Real Madrid was confirmed in September, but due to a bureaucratic issue the 16-year-old has yet to make his debut for the club, and according to Marca he has only been training in Spain for the last few weeks.

The left-footed attacking midfielder, who can also play on the wing is set to be part of Real Madrid’s U19 squad, which takes part in the UEFA youth league, meaning Peeters could come up against old club Ajax should both clubs qualify from their groups, which looks very likely.

Peeters is a Netherlands U17 international, who played a key role as the young Oranje side qualified to the elite round of qualifying for next years European Championships.
