Dutch football analyst and former FC Schalke 04 player Youri Mulder spoke to the NOS after his old side drew Ajax in the Europa League.

Mulder said, ”FC Schalke 04 are an unpredictable side. FC Schalke have been inconsistent so far this season. Certain games were they drew with Bayern Munich 1-1 and won a few games in a row and then all of a sudden they did not win for one month.
”If you also look at their style of play it is also nothing to write home about. Although for a German side they are physically very strong and they also have good technical quality.
”Klaas- Jan Huntelaar was on the bench against Borussia Monchengladbach and he is involved in the squad but whether he will be in the starting lineup against Ajax remains to be seen.
”I think that Ajax have a good chance to beat Schalke 04. But being a Schalke 04 man, I hope that they win”.
