Genero Zeefuik has left Groningen to sign for Turkish second division side Balıkesirspor.

Groningen president Hans Nijland confirmed on his twitter account that the 25-year-old striker had left the club to sign a two-year-deal with the Turkish side, who were relegated from the Super Lig last season.
The former PSV prospect signed for Groningen in 2012, but failed to establish himself in the first team, scoring only seven times in 40 Eredivisie games.
Last season Zeefuik was loaned to Scottish side Hearts of Midlothian, where he found some form, scoring 12 goals in 15 league games.
