Deyovaisio Zeefuik wants to depart Groningen this summer for a move abroad to a top club outside the Netherlands.

The 22-year-old former Ajax youngster has been a star for Groningen this season, and has now set his sights on moving abroad.
He told the Dagblad van het Noorden, “I also read that the crisis will have many consequences for the transfer market and that there is no more money to buy players. But for the time being my agent has noticed that there is plenty of interest. And I have not made a secret of it before: it is time for the next step.
“My contract has only been running for a year. Groningen now has the chance to earn something from me. Money is important to the club. There are people here who have lost their jobs because of the corona crisis. Trust me, the club has to make that decision because there really is no other solution. Because Groningen is a very warm club. “
A club in a European competition is Zeefuik’s main aim, “I went from Ajax to Groningen to improve, but also to grow up. Now I want to go further and then I have to go abroad. I want to go to the Europa League or rather the Champions League. Don’t see it as arrogance I think I still have to learn a lot and above all stay humble. But I want to continue learning in the vicinity of an appealing club. “
