According to the Record in Portugal, Marvin Zeegelaar’s move from Sporting Lisbon to Sevilla has fallen through due to a clause in his contract.

The Portuguese side are keen to sell Zeegelaar this summer and the left-back was all set to move to Sevilla, who had agreed a fee for the Dutchman.

However, Sporting wanted to include a clause in his contract which meant Sevilla couldn’t sell Zeegelaar to either Benfica or Porto in the future. The La Liga side have refused this and the deal has now been called off, according to the Record.
