With Henk Fraser departing ADO Den Haag to take charge of Vitesse, the club have turned to Zeljko Petrovic to take over as head coach. No details have been released on the length of his contract.
Speaking to the official club site, Petrovic said, “ADO Den Haag are a fantastic club that fits well with me.
“The fans expect a lot of passion and endeavour from their team where they have the bit between their teeth every game. I also recognise and adhere to those standards of play.
“I can’t wait to take charge of my first training session this coming Monday.”
Petrovic has previously managed Boavista, RKC Waalwijk and Urawa Reds. He was recently assistant manager to Dick Advocaat when he was in charge of Serbian national team and also during his tenure as Sunderland manager.
