The 19-year-old made a big impression last season when he scored in his first two Bundesliga games in a row. However, this season, Zirkzee has been overlooked and mostly played for the U23 side.
It became clear that Zirkzee was on his way out of Munich this month and he was linked with a number of clubs such as Heracles Almelo, Cologne, Eintracht Frankfurt and Everton.
However, Zirkzee is heading to Serie A with Parma signing the young forward on loan until the end of the season. They can also make the move permanent in the summer.
Zirkzee’s chances of playing time is higher in Italy and he must help Parma in their battle against relegation.
