Bayern Munich striker Joshua Zirkzee has been named in the provisional Netherlands U21’s squad for their upcoming European Championship qualifiers.

Jong Oranje will face Belarus U21’s on the 27th of March and Portugal U21’s on the 31st in two European Qualifiers.

On Wednesday, Erwin van de Looi named his provisional squad for the matches with Joshua Zirkzee’s named included. The 18-year-old has broken into the Bayern Munich first-team this season and is promoted up from the Oranje U19 squad.

Also making their first appearances at this level are Feyenoord full-back Lutsharel Geertruida, Ajax midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, and Heerenveen defender Sven Botman.

The squad will be confirmed by Van de Looi next week.
