Joshua Zirkzee netted both goals as Anderlecht defeated Cercle Brugge 2-1 on Sunday evening.

Anderlecht found themselves behind in the first minute with Olivier Deman putting the hosts in front.

However, Zirkzee found the equaliser after 13 minutes, finishing well after a pass from Sergio Gómez. The on-loan Bayern Munich striker then made it 2-1 with his strike from distance in the 29th minute which found the net via a deflection.

That proved to be the winner as Anderlecht held on in the second half despite pressure from Cercle Brugge. Zirkzee was substituted in the 86th minute.
