Richairo Zivkovic made his Premier League debut for Sheffield United in their 3-0 loss to Newcastle United on Sunday.

The Dutch striker surprisingly joined Sheffield United on loan from Chinese side Changchun Yatai in January but the coronavirus outbreak delayed his debut.

On Sunday, the 23-year-old was named on the bench for the club’s trip to Newcastle United.

With just less than 20 minutes to go, Zivkovic made an appearance, but by that point his side were 2-0 down and also playing with ten men. Allan Saint-Maximin and Matt Ritchie had scored for Newcastle.

Eventually it finished 3-0 for the home side with Joelinton sealing a simple win.

Zivkovic will now be hoping to make a bigger impact in the remaining eight games of the campaign.
