According to Eindhovens Dagblad, PSV Eindhoven goalkeeper Jeroen Zoet is a target for Besiktas, but reports from Turkey that a deal is close are premature.

Reports in the Turkish media on Tuesday stated that Besiktas had reached an agreement to sign Zoet.

ED have confirmed that the Turkish side are interested in the goalkeeper, with scouts from Besiktas watching him on various occasions this season, while he was on loan with Utrecht.

The interest is very serious, but there is no agreement yet or even serious negotiations. PSV will want a fee for the stopper, who has one year left on his contract in Eindhoven.

Union Berlin have also been linked with Zoet, who lost his place at PSV early last season due to some erratic performances.
